My COO in Kenya started with 1 connection on LinkedIn. Me.
I designed his posts. From October 5 to October 18, his profile got 261,764 impressions and reached 124,023 members. LinkedIn shows that as 676% more than the prior 14 days. Now he has 320+ followers, and the posts brought 1,000+ clicks to work.ke.

Nobody knew him, and it did not matter
97% of those impressions came from people outside his network. Nobody knew him. They stopped for the topic.

What we did
- We wrote about the reader's problem, not about the company.
- The first line is always 1 clear claim or 1 number. People decide in 2 seconds.
- Every post has 1 big image with a few strong words.
- We tested different topics, because you cannot know in advance which one people want.
What this is not
Impressions are not clients. But a profile that people see is a profile that people can answer.
I wrote about the first week of this profile in From 2 Connections to 83,285 Post Impressions in 7 Days, and about why reach alone is not pipeline in 50,000 views and zero pipeline. More screenshots are on the Results page.
Different market, same door. You still have to knock right on LinkedIn.
